About Fermoy.
Fermoy is a rural town located within a 30-minute drive of Cork City with close proximity to Cork Airport and Sea Port with good road network, excellent infrastructure and large well-trained workforce. Present population as per 2002 census is 2276 within the boundary of Fermoy Town Council. The population of the environs of Fermoy Town brings this figure to 4489. Fermoy has possibly the largest number of clubs and organisations of any town in the Country together with excellent primary schools and second level colleges.

Architectural Gem:
Christ Church, designed by Abraham Hargrave and consecrated in 1809 is one of Fermoy's most imposing old buildings.
