Competitions
Fermoy Town Council participates in the following competitions annually:-
- Irish Business against Litter competition.
- Cork County Council litter challenge competition.
- Muintir Na Tire Roadside competition.
- National Tidy Towns competition.
Results
Fermoy Town Council achieved the following litter awards for 2003.
- Second place in Cork County Council litter challenge
- Second place in Muintir Na Tire Roadside Litter Challenge
- Unfortunately in 2003 we did not achieve litter free status in I.B.A.L litter competition due to overspill in cardboard facility in Library Car Park.
- Litter Free Roadside Competition 2003 2nd Place
- Tidy Town Competition 2003 Out of a maximum mark of 300 Fermoy Town Council achieved 224 marks, compared to 216 the year before.
