Town park

Town Park
Nature at its heart - Fermoy is fortunate to have a magnificent park situated in the centre of town.

Fermoy Town Council has responsibility for the maintenance of the Town Park located at Brian Boru Square. Fermoy.  The Leisure Centre is located within the grounds of the Town Park.  This is a unique facility for a town of its size.  The park has been enhanced over recent years by additional planting of trees and shrubs and is maintained to an exceptional standard by the Council's Gardener.

Founding Father - Credit for designing much of Fermoy's town centre goes to mail coach pioneer, John Anderson ( 1747 - 1820). A bronze sculpture outside the park gates perpetuates his memory.

The installation of modern play equipment has further increased it's attractiveness for locals and visitors alike.
