Fermoy Town Council is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of 6 kilometres of urban roads and public footpaths. Fermoy Town Council received a grant from the Department of the Environment in 2004 for €253,000.
The following works will be carried out during 2004:
- Black-Topping of Monument Hill.
- Repair of Concrete Channel At Monument Hill.
- Repairs to Footpaths at the following locations:
- John Redmond Street.
- Emmet Street.
- Connolly Street.
- Pike Road.
- John Anderson Place.
- Chapel Hill.
- Monument Hill.
- Wolfe Tone Park.
